I had my second-round interview yesterday and I think it went well, but I'm worried that I didn't do enough to sell myself while talking to the hiring manager.  I'm just trying not to get my hopes up too much but I'd love to have this job.  They'll be making the decision by the end of next week, so please keep your fingers crossed for me!

Thank you everyone for you birthday wishes.  Bill had taken me to Barcelona for a delish dinner of tapas and champagne, so the day of, I spend finishing my homework for class, getting my hair cut, and doing some domestic things.

I've started selling my books on half.com....I'm finally getting around to reading some of the many books that my parents keep sending and many of them I don't feel the need to hold onto.  This makes Bill very happy, he thinks I have an abnormal attachment to the books I read.  Whatever...I like books.  So sue me.  So far, I've sold 5!  It's ( Read more... )

Not much new going on here.  I'm still applying for jobs and not hearing anything back. School is going well and I'm hoping to get an A in this class (have to get 95% or higher to get an A).

Poo.  So, job #1 is a no go...I heard from the HR lady yesterday.  Apparently, they wanted someone with more product marketing experience.  Why does it always come back to experience?  I have a ton of marketing experience and much of what I've done could have been applied to this position.  Oh well ( Read more... )
